Ortrud Jones,RN, IBCLC, LCCE

“PeriNatal Paradise has one of the worlds finest International Board Certified Lactation Consultants, Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educators and Peri-natal Fitness Instructor.  She is a Registered Nurse by the name of Ortrud Jeager -Jones.”

She was born and raised in Germany, and completed her education, along with obtaining her certifications and credentials in the USA since early 1990.

Ortrud has 25 years  experience as an RN and has been teaching and working in the field of lactation the last 15 years. Ortrud’s passion has been spread to hundreds of satisfied patients, and that passion is to prepare mothers and families for a birth full of support, love, dignity and respect no matter where you will give birth.

Patient choices and individuality are motivators for her to educate and empower moms and their families, just as much as her desire to have a “baby-led” experience where evidence-based research findings will take precedence over protocol and standard procedures. Ortrud continues to stay involved with the latest practices in hospital settings and holds memberships to several birthing and lactation organizations worldwide.
